New Xbox Released

I saw a video on Youtube about a new Xbox Microsoft has come up with.
I haven't watched it entirely but what I learned is that it can recognize voices and movement.

Honestly I think that is kind of cheap stick to controllers.
What are your opinions?

It's not a new xbox but more of an update. It's called project Natal. It uses a camera with mic for the voice and movement recognition, and it also recognizes faces too. I agree it is a cheap stick to controllers, considering many games are only possible with a controller, i.e. shooters. >.>

How the hell do you play a shooter without a controller? *stands up and pretends to shoot and someone comes in* What the hell are you doing? I'm shooting, I think... >.>

Well i dont know they may make up for it by having a wireless gun to use along with the game like an accessory or something. I believe xbox is jus trying to out do the wii...but thats just my opinion.

its basically eye toy for xbox using motion capture tech it's there answer to the moms who think kids shouldn't [;ay cuase they get fat but the motion capture simulates "exercise" i say that cause you can still be sitting n the couch while you play

I don't know how you would play a shooter with that, and that's why I've been looking into Sony's answer to motion control. (There's actual remotes :D)

I actually don't mind having no controllers to hold on to. I mean, for the sake of fun and entertainment, I think it would be great!! Watching your friends act weird! Just like Wii, but way better I believe. Wii's graphics sucks, but i like the party games and also sports. 360 is everything though.. From Wii's features to no-limit at all!! Its going to be awesome..

well can say anything bad about it. its this kind of game revolution and innovation that leads to the next generation of gaming experiences. i actually wan to congrat xbox for this idea and we maybe seeing a change soon to the gaming world and the 1 tat will stand at its forefront will be xbox then. DO NOT HATE CHANGES IF IT GOES FOR THE BETTER(OR FUTURE)

Umm, where has anyone sad anything bad about something? I'm pretty sure the worst said is that the 360 motion sensor won't have remotes, and will not be easily used to play shooters with.

lol its called NATAL. its gunna blow wii out of the water all together. i think it looks amazing. hopefully you will still be able to use some sort of controller for 1st person shooters.
