The re-programing is done and once again OS is open to the public ... hopefully this time forever :1:

Our OS is back at last

As you all would have noticed, Otaku-streamers was suspended by the host for excessive bandwidth/CPU usage, since we use a shared host.

We have managed to get it back online by promising to reduce the usage or upgrade to a dedicated host. However after looking at all options, we find we are unable to upgrade at this moment as we do not have sufficient funds.

Therefore we will need to make certain small changes to our site to help us through the next couple of months till we collect the required funds. We beg our members patience and tolerance for a little while longer

- The chat will be temporarily disabled till we can move it to another host. It should back by early next week
- Some of the lesser used features such the "Buddy" tab will not be available.

Thanks to all our members for sticking with us through these small road bumps along the way XD
PS. We have backed up everything on OS in case the host kicks us out, therefore hopefully we should be around for a long, long time so don't go away :4:

It's not that I don't trust the host, but I don't ... I would suggest to all users that they establish a backup means of getting in touch with all of their valued friends right now. Exchange your user names on other web sites and places like Myspace, Youtube, ect. so if OS gets blindsided again there is a way to keep in touch until the OS admins get the site up and running again.

Also, the admins should suggest an alternative site where they can post information about OS status if it gets kicked off again ... just a thought

Oh thank goodness!!! I thought that this site has been targeted by jealous so called owners of copyrights thingy & everything that everyone had worked so hard up till now had been deleted.

Phew. I don't know what I would ever do without this anime streaming site. It would be such a nightmare. I don't want to go back to Crunchyroll, Veoh, Megavideo or even YouTube (the first two impossible anyway).
